E-books: IT en Mediadesign

De verplichte en aanbevolen leermiddelen op de lijsten van de Studiewinkel zijn in de Studiecentra aanwezig.
In HANQuest is het studieboek / leermiddel op te zoeken; de fysieke boeken staan ter inzage in Studiecentrum Ruitenberglaan 31 Arnhem en de e-books zijn via HANQuest te raadplegen.

• Na inlog met het HAN-account heeft iedere student en medewerker van de HAN toegang. Bij veel van de titels is er echter wel een beperking in het aantal gelijktijdige gebruikers. Als dit het geval is kan de toegang tijdelijk geblokkeerd zijn.
• Als je een e-book geopend hebt, en je doet er 30 minuten geen handeling in, dan sluit het e-book om weer beschikbaar te zijn voor anderen.

The compulsory and recommended learning resources on the lists in the Studiewinkel are available in the Study Centres.
In HANQuest the study book / learning resource can be looked up; the hardcopy books are available for consultation in Study Centre Ruitenberglaan 31 Arnhem and the e-books can be consulted via HANQuest.

• After logging in with the HAN account, every HAN student and employee has access. However, for many of the titles there is a limitation on the number of simultaneous users. If this is the case, access may be temporarily blocked.
• If you have opened an e-book and do not act upon it for 30 minutes, the e-book will close and become available to others again.

De studiecentra bieden digitale toegang tot deze titels om de studenten en medewerkers van de HAN meer manieren te bieden waarop ze vakliteratuur kunnen raadplegen. Deze digitale versies zijn niet bedoeld als vervanging van de papieren versies. Als studenten en medewerkers ze wel als zodanig gebruiken moeten ze sterk rekening houden met de beperking van een maximaal aantal gelijktijdige gebruikers. Ook kunnen de studiecentra niet garanderen dat de titels altijd toegankelijk zijn: technisch kan er er altijd iets misgaan en licenties kunnen aflopen.

The study centres offer digital access to these titles to provide HAN students and staff with more ways to consult professional literature. These digital versions are not meant to replace the paper versions. If students and staff do use them as such, they must take into account the limitation of a maximum number of simultaneous users. Also, the study centres cannot guarantee that the titles will always be accessible: technically, things can always go wrong and licences can expire.
