Full text search: a LibGuide

Find full text via Worldcat

If an article is not full text in HANQuest or in Google Scholar, you can use the database WorldCat.
Look for a (University) library in the neighbourhood that has the full text of the article.

Web of Science

Web of Science is used to track, evaluate, and compare scientific research. Scientists have access to assessments of articles and journals, such as the number of citations, impact factor, and other metrics. These assessments help determine the performance of researchers and the quality of journals.

Professional journals (e-magazines)

You find here a selection of professional journals that are relevant for social work. Almost all these journals can be consulted online. HANQuest searches the contents of these journals. Through the various databases you have access to many more (> 37,000 titles) online (international) journals. If you want a good impression of the large range on offer, you can enter "social work" for example in the online journals section on the homepage of www.han.nl/studiecentra. You'll see you have access to over 140 online journals that have the words "social work" in their title.
Looking for an article but no online access? Found a link that doesn't work (anymore)? Send an email to your information specialist.

Tip: you can often subscribe to a free newsletter on a journal;'s website. This keeps you informed of recents developments in the field of social work and of what is happening in society.
